I was stoked to find that the much anticipated package from Chris Walter's GFY Press showed up yesterday!

I opted for the collector's edition with the Diane Arbus image on the cover that inspired the "...And No One Else Wanted To Play" album cover artwork. The book looks amazing.

I'm not usually all that concerned about owning more than one copy of something, but now I think I need to get the "...What No One Else Wanted To Say" book with the Doug Humiski photo on the cover! If you love S.N.F.U. like I do...well then I suggest if you haven't already, you should too!

Get Money, Get Paid

Yesterday there were some business transactions going down with our friends at Sk8 Skates. Somehow it always ends up in their favour. They sell P&S shirts, we get paid, we buy new decks, wheels and bearings and they get paid right back! We like the win/win.

Speaking of winning. The word on the street is that people are diggin' the new Uprising Prairie Roots drop by John McGee.

...and why not! We like stuff that's creative with a side of local pride! Support your local shops and businesses!

So we skipped town for the weekend, but we were back in time for Winnipeg's number one custom car culture past time; Sunday night cruise!

When in Kenora...

If we we're going to be at Lake of the Woods, we obviously should go out of our way to visit the skate park in Kenora. That is exactly what we did. While we were there we met a dude from Winnipeg that had the same plan.

A Chorus of Disapproval

There's a long standing history of my roommate failing to pass on news that is considered of high interest to me, usually because said information is not of interest to him in the same way. Sometimes he remembers to tell me when it's too late. Today when I arrived home I quickly forgot about all the late news frustration in the past. He has redeemed himself!

One amazing news flash!

Now the question is going to be...how am I getting down to Miami in September?

We broke a few bikes from the Schwinn collection to ride in style tonight. We invited a lady friend, so we let her ride the Schwinn Stingray Fair Lady.

Vans Presents: The St. James Skateboard Games

Tyler Geurts rounded up the locals to Park West out in St. James this afternoon for "The St. James Skateboard Games" made possible by Vans. Tyler promised fun and prizes and his word is bond!

Motor Pedal

Grady went and got himself a new mode of transportation.

That's that!

He's baaaaack!

We followed the Doctor's orders after the cast came off. He rested, he healed, he played soccer with his ankle brace on. First day back at the skate park since the unfortunate fractured fibula incident that went down in the middle of a soccer game a couple of months ago... and now this is happening!

He's the lucky one! I'm still counting down the days until the Doctor gives me the green light to get back on the board!

These days are looking awfully good...
