Brandon Skatepark. The Visit

If we're going to take the two hour journey to Brandon we might was well stop off and visit Platform Skate shop along the way (due to contstruction on the Trans-Canada, you don't have a choice but to drive through Portage La Prairie so there's no good excuse not to!

Call them, visit them, buy stuff and/or go hang out on their couches.

Our friend and co-board member of the Skateboard Coalition of Manitoba Steve.

They're well stocked for the inevitable winter season.

They've got sweet shop decks. The price is right, go check them out!

Brandon or bust. We've arrived!

Aaron and his crew were shredding up the tranny sections of the park. I'd love to say he landed this frontside air...but unfortunately after a handful of tries, this was the one that he was closest to sticking. He fought the concrete and the concrete won. I'm sure he'll have it locked by our next visit.

Mr. D approves of the park!

If you're contemplating the drive. Here's the visual tour. The landscapers are still wrapping up their end to prep for next year's official grand opening. As far as the locals are concerned it's open and worth the visit!
