Why should one settle for sampling only one new skate park this weekend when one can sample two!
New Line Skateparks have teamed up with local landscape architects Scatliff+Miller+Murray Inc. again to create the North End Skatepark at the corner of Murray and Man St. at the Red River Community Centre.
Pancakes and Skateboards were on the scene to sample it out and give your second virtual tour in two days.
Similar to Brandon, this park is ready to skate. Both parks will be fully complete with grand openings in 2011!
Brandon Sanderson was thrilled as this park is now the closest in proximity to his residence. Hopefully that doesn't mean he's going to stop ripping up "the carpet" at The Forks anytime soon. That's a sight you don't want to miss.
He gets a P&S cameo solely based on the fact that he was wearing a Dead Kennedys shirt.
This dude gets a cameo solely based on the fact the green and purple go great together!
Lucas Thorvaldson feeble grind.
Lucas with a kick flip.
Our visit went past dusk when with Chris Rossong pulling of a smooth switch nose manual just before his departure.
Like all new parks, there are BMX's a plenty and droves of kids that have no concept of simple wait your turn and "look out" skate park etiquette. That's as inevitable as the good time you will have when you visit any of Manitoba's skate parks.
