2014 Highlights Part I

Coaching youth soccer under a long term development program can sometimes be a challenge. With the focus on the long term development, it's often hard for parents and players to envision the end result as it is intended to be years down the road and not necessarily winning every week's match.

Our first highlight of 2014 to report went down just yesterday. We've won some games and we've lost our fair share. However; we won 1st place in the U11 Boys Domino's Christmas Classic Tournament and well... that was kind of cool!

Destination Barcelona

Duda Castro from Barcelona reached out and invited us down to Marbella Skatepark at Marbella Beach.

Just in case the idea of visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona (already well known around the world for being a skate spot hot spot) wasn't enticing enough or the fact that their new rad park is by the beach... Duda let us know that their local hostel has a mini ramp IN the hostel!

Thanks for the invite and thanks for the photos Duda! We REALLY need to make a point of adding Barcelona on the the shorter list of things to do in this lifetime! Anyone else already headed that way? Go check out Marbella Skatepark!
