This particular Friday consisted of a birthday party, hanging out with friends at a coffee shop, visiting a friend's house and some desicion making to continue on watching hardcore bands at War on Music or watching The Ex-Girlfriends play at "Zombie Farewell" at the Albert.
I'll start by saying this...watching the 2010 Olympic ceremonies was an option amongst many other things to do on a Friday night for some, but while the sold out straight edge kids are drinking 40's and dancing to hip-hop, the hipsters are mastering their scenes and the bar stars are tripping on the ice in their high heels while walking down Albert Street headed for the clubs...some of Winnipeg's most dedicated skateboarders are getting busy doing what else...but skateboarding on a chilly February Friday night in Winnipeg.
